Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap Opinion 11/29 Adrienne's Fashion Show

 My take/recap on Adrienne's Fashion Show

The show started off w/ Lisa (late for a wedding meeting) Pandora, and company.  We see the "official invite"~a beautiful boxed invite @ $150 a piece for $100 guests.  Yes, 15000..fyi...In a recent survey conducted by The Knot, it was revealed that the average wedding is now about $27,800.  I think the invite is beautiful, but not $150 beautiful...Maybe $30 at most?  I just got married and had my stationary personally designed.  For absolutely everything from the Save the Date to the invite to the thank you etc. it was about $1200.00 & I thought that was a lot.  Okay you get my point...the invite is over the top. I actually like  Kevin Lee (he reminds me of Fronk on Father of the Bride). Pandora, Lisa, and co. sip drinks with their mixologist. Lisa doesn't look to happy with the whole infused vodka with things "smoking" and "steaming".  ALthough it is a bit much and looks like my son's science experiment I do think it could add something "different" to a wedding!  Kevin Lee is all about the "wow" factor.  When I got married I thought simple and classical was beautiful, but everybody has their own "taste".  I just hope Pandora makes decisions based on what her husband and her want.   Lisa and Kevin both seem to think they are the one(s) getting married.
We see Adrienne with a bunch of her shoes around a table with other designers/workers talking about designing Adrienne's shoe line.  I loved the shoes, but there was a huge variety of shoes.  WOW!  I commend Adrienne for having her logo and placement all thought out.  She appears to be a really great and hands on business woman.
Somewhere in there Kyle and Brandi go for a pedi (Taylor is suppose to be in attendance, but cancels at the last minute).  Brandi asks Kyle's advice because she wants to invite the gals over and clean the slate so to speak.  She wants to have a b*** J** class.  Kyle lookes annoyed and says not with this crowd!  We know Kyle this crowd is hard to please!
On to the therapy session with Russell and Taylor---Talk about uncomfortable for the viewer.  I was carefully listening to the therapist and he really sounded like he knew what he was doing.  The thought going through my head is...What went wrong?  Russell and Taylor did look really uncomfortable, but they are being filmed for national tv while at a therapist.  I love my husband and I would be nervous too.  Although they seem to be saying they want each other, but now acting like it.  Side note:  How did this tragic ending occur when there was this amazing support system?  Russell and Taylor stated they were committed to going forward, but we know that doesn't happen...so sad! 

Step Up http://www.suwn.org/is an organization that Adrienne belives in and she tells us she is hosting a fashion show for the charity, a designer, and her shoes.  Amazing to see her "give back".
Adrienn's fashion show/charity event appeared to go well.  Since the main focus was Step Up Adrienne decided not to focus too much on her shoes. Understood.  However, I think she could have tastefully showed her shoes.  It kind of takes away from the point.Yes, it was about the charity, but also about the fashion.  Show off your shoes Maloof!
Immediately when Lisa walks into the event Adrienne pulls her to the side and has a talk with her about Pandora's Bach party being held at Planet Hollywood not The Palms.  A little petty much? I did understand and I took Adrienne's side last episode. But we learn there is more to this..   Lisa explains that the owner of Planet Hollywood LV is a long time friend and wanted to do the bach party...At this point Adrienne should have "backed down". I think that was a good reason for Lisa to have it @ Planet Hollywood.  An old fam friend offered. Adrienne wanted an apology she didn't get it. FYI Adrienne you can give me a suite at the Palms and I will tell everybody I know how FABULOUS it is...:-).  You have a right to your feelings honey, but Lisa didn't do this on purpose.
Anyway...More of the fashion party~We see Camille and Taylor face to face at the ladies bathroom and Taylor states they need to talk at another time.  Agreed.  Camille is the voice of reason and so cute this season. Last episode I don't think she was trying to start trouble, but just trying to be a "friend". So much for that because now Taylor appears to hate her.
We hear a little bit about the drama with Brandi and her ex. I didn't like her @ first, but now I feel bad for her...She was dumped and now has to deal with problems re the kids? Not a very nice move dude!
Lisa says in her interview that the vanderpump is going to kick the Maloof a**....Lisa I like you, but u are a little "full" of yourself here and really immature..You should support not compete against your friend!  Do you really NEED people to buy your shoes so badly that you will "dig" at Adrienne?  Where is the Vanderpump sold?  I can't seem to find it anywhere, but Adrienne's shoes are everywhere...HMMM
Where was Kim this episode?
We saw a glimpse of Dana, but she didn't say much.

Looking forward to next episode...It looks like there will be a "fight"..Stay tuned fellow housewives.

The Real Housewives of Atl 11/27 recap and my "take" on things!

I was on twitter speaking with other fans and it was fun even though the episode was a little boring to me and I only kept watching it for this blog! 
On to the Episode...

We start out by seeing Phaedra apologize to Kim for the “incident” at her baby shower.  She also  brings Kim a gift basket.  This was nice of Phaedra and makes her look like the “good girl”, but the episode has just begun!!!  Kim you will prob not hear from Cynthia.  I don't think she has very much class and/or manners!  Who goes to a baby shower without a gift?  This still bothers me.  I don't care if Kim brought you a wedding gift or not...2 wrongs don't make a right.  ISn't the point of a baby shower to shower the mother with gifts the new baby?  The girls chat for awhile."I was as crazy as a Vampire in sunlight"-Phaedra's quotation on birth! LOL okayyyyy.  Interesting use of words!
On to Peter and Mel chatting about the wedding incident from last season( Mel is Cynthia's sister).  Okay Mel you were a jerk to hide the marriage certificate especially on National TV.  What an embarassment to your sister and her husband (both his and your families).  Cynthia you might be over it because it's YOUR sister, but it's PETER'S sister in Law...IN LAW is the key!  He hasn't known her and loved her all his life and he has every right to be upset and I wouldn't take her call either.  Peter makes the excuse that it was a private number, but apparently this isn't the truth  because MEl and Cythia say it isn't from a private number.  Peter you don't have to lie..you lost some respect by doing that..you could have been honest and said I didn't want to talk to you because you upset and embarassed me. Kudos to Mel for trying, but I am not sure what you were trying to do...Did you apologize?  I missed that.
Peter to Mel, "I don't even know what to say to you".  I agree with you Peter...That was ridiculous and did put a "black shadow" on the day.  Mel if you were concerned about your sister you could have talked to Peter and/or her before the wedding and not made an embarassment out of your sister and her husband on cameras during their wedding.Mel doesn't seem to get it!  Peter I can't imagine you trying to explain this to your mother and father!  Peter can be a jerk, but he is right Mel...It wasn't your day.  Maybe you are/were trying to get your 15 minutes of fame~!YOUR fifteen minutes were/are up MEL.  @ least Peter said I understand and I am good.  Mel said " I don't care that it was your day"...mel is a drama queen!!!!! You are/were trying to come in between Peter and Cynthia, whatever drama queen!
Kandi is so cute!  I like seeing Phaedra and her looking for a place to celebrate her 35th birthday and the Restaurant looks really cute! I love the space! Uh oh here comes Sheree! According to Kandi 35 is a Mid milestone?I guess you are right. LOL if you say so honey!~  Kandi says she might be depressed b/c she isn't married.  I am married, but I don't have a GRAMMY . I get it that when you have success you want somebody to share it with, but still...you have a beautiful child and career, you will survive Kandi!

Then we see Nene  shopping with Kandi for boots.
"I change clothes in the store"-quote from NENE...Okay Leanne Rimes! J/k..fine with me just funny!
"I think Kandi wanted a friendship and Kim wanted a song"-Nene....Interesting.  I don't know about that one..possibly!  She could have gotten both, no?
Nene sounds a little jealous of Kim when Kandi is talking about Kroy.  I might be wrong, but hey who knows.  It's not her third baby by the third man btw Nene.  Why even say that?  I guess she likes to keep the drama going?  It makes for good TV Nene.I'll give you that
Nene says she doesn't know if she will attend Kandi's birthday (b/c of Sheree trying to dig up her past)...Hmmm I didn't know that.  Like you are innocent Nene ...right?
Next Kim and Kroy have a baby consultant come to their house to teach and assist them.  Kim and Kroy and this P#### thing is a little boring and unnecessary.  Although, it must be nice to have a baby consultant!  I want a baby consultant and a baby nurse (like Bethenny).  Kim has 2 kids and she is getting lessons on how to change a diaper???? I know she has girls, but still..she is over concerned about the p@#@@.  I get that you want to be a good mom, but still it's odd to me. Maybe I'm wrong.
We over hear Peter on the phone talking to somebody about a check bouncing and I missed who the check was from/for and why it bounced...How do they have this beautiful house and businesses if they are still broke?  I must be missing something!!!
Cynthia and Nene are chillin' with wine when Nene mentions her and Greg had S##..Okay hmmm.  Apparentaly Greg is a tiger...UMMMM K.  But you two are broken up, right?  I guess she just likes to share this info with us!
We then see Cynthia, Mel, and Mel's husband at the Modeling Agency.  Cynthia still seems to think her fam thought they were helping when they hid the marriage certificate. Do you really believe this Cynthia?  I don't think you are too quick!  I guess you will defend your family at all costs...even when they're wrong!
Every episode we get to see Sheree "building" her new "chateau".  IN this episode we see sheree and Phaedra talking to the contractor/bullying him. Since when does Sheree have the money to buy Chateau Sheree?  She is always complaining about child support, but we keep seeing her building a chateau...HMMMM.  The lack of $ might explain why she is having problems with the contractor.  I guess they are having "permit" problems. Was the contractor paid?  Come on!!  Phaedra what 4 houses did you build up?  \ LOL "Chateau" makes me laugh every time I hear it.  I am going to search for this Chateau online?
Phaedra you are married, why are you showing a random contractor your a##??? TACKY!  Okay so Sheree says she has paid up to date, but I doubt she has enough to build a "chateau".  I laugh every time I type that!
Mel how can you not think you owe Peter an apology???? What is wrong with you? 
Mel is Cynthia's assistant...INTERESTING>
Apparentaly Cynthia can afford a modeling school, but not a receptionist. Interesting.
Peter is opening a new club and Cynthia I wouldn't give him money!!!! No way!!!!
Cynthia suddenly starts getting defensive and attacks Mels marriage saying it's not all great either.  Good for you Cynthia!  Up and down is a part of a marriage.Why wouldn't Cynthia be defensive!  Mel does need to mind her own business!!!!!!!   Cynthia asks Mel to Respect each other's choices. I AGREE..
Next we see Kandi getting ready for her party and she is talking about wanting to be married and have another child.  She seems to think her biological clock is ticking!  I have faith in Kandi. She is a good person and eventually she will find a great man to share her life with!  I think it's cute that her mom is going out with the gals to celebrate her birthday!The cupcakes in the shape of the number thirty five are so cute!  Wow Lawrence is looking a little interesting to say the list.  According to Phaedra he is Mr. T dipped in Wonder Woman (I'm adding with lipstick) ...like whoa. So far the party looks like it's going to be a beautiful night especially for a rooftop party!  Sheree and Nene are in the same room.  Nene says her presence takes over the entire room...LOL okay honnnneeeyy!~Sheree is in the corner talking S###.  Wrong place wrong time Sheree!  The circle is divided at this point -according to Kandi, which makes it a little "weird" and it was unnecessary!  Just be cordial for dear Kandi's party ladies...or fight and give us entertainment, but hanging out on opposite sides of the room talking smack is boring!  Phaedra has a surprise and it's a stripper...okay a little inappropriate, but whatever.  Apparentaly his name is RIDICULOUS...it should be disgusting!  Phaedra you lost some points in class here..she did bring both the stripper and the dollar bills, which makes her look rich b####.  Ridiculous goes on to put his beep in Kandi's drink and then helps himself to himself.  GROSS, TOO MUCH and Phaedra you lost my respect.  Kandi didn't have any knowledge of this and her MOTHER was sitting right next to her DISGUSTING!  I was ready to turn off the episode but remember that I am "blogging" about it and kept it back on, but that was wayyyyyy toooo much! UGH!  There were a lot of ppl at the party with their spouses.  Kandi's mother wasn't happy...she immediately leaves the party and tells Kandi not to call her.  Poor Kandi!  It wasn't her fault!!!!! THE END

First post!~BRAVO HOUSEWIVES OBSESSION!

I am a 30 year old housewife that has become "OBSESSED" -for lack of a better term- with the Bravo Real Housewives series, so I decided to start a blog about it.  My blog is just for fun......I watch reruns online and truly love all things housewives!  So hit me up and give me suggestions!  I don't know what I am doing when it comes to this blogging stuff, but I think I can handle anything.  I am trying to keep all things "positive", but also would like friendly debates!~
